To ensure timely delivery of your order, please keep in mind the daily cut-off times. Orders placed after the specified times will be considered as placed on the previous business day (“Day -1”) when calculating the estimated delivery date.

🇳🇱 Orders within the Netherlands

  • before 23:59 CET on business days (Monday to Friday) are typically processed the next business day.
  • following business day (Day -1).

🇪🇺 Orders within Europe (excluding the Netherlands)

  • before 22:30 CET on business days are considered placed on the same day (Day 0).
  • placed on the previous business day (Day -1).

🌍 International Orders (outside Europe)

  • before 18:00 CET are processed on the same business day (Day 0).
  • Day -1 for shipping calculations.

Premium shipping insurance policy

🚚 Premium Shipping Protection – Moiré Cosmetics

If you selected Premium Shipping at checkout, your order is protected in the event of loss, theft, damage, or confirmed delivery issues — up to the full value of your order.

In the rare case something goes wrong with your delivery via our third-party carriers, we will gladly file a claim on your behalf. Depending on the outcome and your preference, we’ll either resend the order or issue a refund.

⚠️ Standard shipping is not insured. Only Premium Shipping includes this protection.

📬 How to File a Claim

To initiate a claim under our Premium Shipping Insurance, please visit the “Help” section on our website homepage. There you’ll find “Premium Shipping Insurance” in the dropdown menu. Follow the step-by-step instructions to upload your required documentation.

To help us process your claim smoothly, please ensure you meet the conditions below:

✅ Claim Guidelines by Category

1. Missing Package

  • Europe: Wait at least 2 full working days after the expected delivery date.

  • Rest of the World: Wait at least 3 full working days after the expected delivery date.
  • Marked as Delivered? Wait 1 full day if tracking shows delivery but you didn’t receive it.
  • Before Claiming: Please check with neighbours, building staff, local pickup points, etc.

2. Incorrect Signature

If the signature on the carrier’s website does not match yours and the package wasn’t received:

  • Provide a sample of your real signature for verification.

3. Stolen Package (≥ €100 order value)

  • A police report is required.
  • You must include the official report number and, if possible, photo/video evidence (e.g. CCTV).

4. Damaged Package

  • Take clear photos of the damage as soon as it's noticed.
  • Damage claims without visual evidence unfortunately cannot be accepted.

Please have the following documents ready for upload in the Help portal:

  • A clear description of what occurred
  • A copy of the commercial invoice with itemized prices
  • Tracking reference number (if applicable)
  • Photo or video evidence of damage/theft/etc.
  • Police report reference (if applicable)
  • A sample signature (for signature disputes)

⏳ Claim Timeframe

  • You must initiate your claim within 30 calendar days from your order date.
  • Claims received after this deadline cannot be accepted, and no compensation or replacement can be issued.

Moiré Cosmetics will make every effort to assist you, but we are not liable for shipping issues outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Carrier delays
  • Incorrect address entry by customer
  • Theft after confirmed delivery
  • Customs-related delays or confiscations

Claims submitted without the required documents, outside the allowed timeframe, or not meeting the stated conditions will not be eligible for refund or reshipment.

Working days and holidays

📅 Working Days & Public Holidays – Moiré Cosmetics

At Moiré Cosmetics, we process and ship orders on business days only (Monday through Friday), excluding public holidays. Please review the information below so you know when your order will be processed and any possible delays due to holidays.

🚫 No Shipping on the Following Fixed Holidays:

  • 25 December – Christmas Day
  • 26 December – Boxing Day
  • 1 January – New Year’s Day
  • 2 January – New Year Holiday

Orders placed on these dates will be processed on the next available business day.

🐣 Easter Holiday Schedule (2025)

Delivery schedules vary by courier during Easter. See below for impacted services:

Please note that shipping and delivery services will be affected during the Easter holiday period, depending on the courier and destination. Below is an overview of the changes to delivery schedules:

  • FedEx: Orders placed on April 19, 20, or 21 will not be shipped until April 22, 2025. No pick-ups or processing during these dates.
  • SEUR and Correos (Spain): No deliveries will take place on April 18, 2025 due to national holidays in Spain.
  • PostNL (Netherlands): There will be no deliveries on April 21, 2025 within the Netherlands.
  • Colis Privé, DPD, GLS, Bpost, UPS, and InPost: These couriers will not deliver on April 21, 2025 across most European countries.
  • Bring (Scandinavia): There will be no deliveries on April 17, 18, and 21, 2025 in Nordic regions.

Please keep these dates in mind when placing your order around Easter. Orders placed during these affected days will be processed on the next available business day. We advise ordering in advance to avoid delays.

  • Moiré Cosmetics is not responsible for delays caused by holiday closures or courier service adjustments.

🕐 When Will My Order Be Shipped?

Orders placed on holidays or outside of business hours will be processed and shipped on the next working day. Please allow for additional time during peak periods such as Easter and Christmas.

Once your order arrives in your country and is handed over to the local delivery carrier, you will receive a shipment confirmation email from us.

This email will include:

  • Relevant shipment details

If you haven’t received this email, please be sure to check your spam or junk folder, as automated messages can sometimes be filtered incorrectly.

My tracking shows delivered, but I haven’t received my order. What should I do?

🚨 Tracking Shows Delivered, But You Didn’t Receive Your Order?

If your tracking information confirms that your package has been delivered, but you have not received it, it is essential that you report this to us immediately.

To be eligible for investigation and possible resolution, including a replacement or refund, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of the stated delivery date. Claims reported after this 7-day window cannot be accepted, as we are then unable to initiate an investigation with the courier or distribution centre.

This applies to all customers, including those who purchased Premium Shipping Protection. However, Premium Shipping allows us to resolve such cases faster and more efficiently, often without relying on external courier investigations.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Customers are responsible for checking the delivery address and tracking status regularly.

  • Before raising a claim, please ensure the parcel was not delivered to a neighbour, mailbox, building reception, or pickup point.

  • Claims without sufficient evidence or submitted outside the allowed timeframe are not eligible for compensation or replacement.

Moiré Cosmetics is not liable for lost or missing packages that are marked as delivered but not reported to us within 7 days. Timely communication is essential for us to take action on your behalf.

How do I qualify for free shipping?

We provide free shipping for orders above 50 euros.

Is there anything else I should know about the shipping and delivery of my order?

⏱ Delivery Times & Delays

Please note that all delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. They are provided for informational purposes only and may vary depending on the local carrier, customs, or other unforeseen factors.

Since all orders ship from our fulfilment centre in the Netherlands, we kindly recommend allowing an additional 24 hours beyond the estimated delivery date before contacting our customer service team. This gives your local carrier enough time to complete the delivery, even in the case of a minor delay.

Based on our experience, most delays resolve themselves within 24 hours without the need for further action.
